Excited to have Rebecca Emma Anne on the class of the day thread on the community tab! She will be sharing her top classes for 7 days! Here is what she says;I started poling years ago and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.I’m self taught from watching YouTube and buying dvds of Bobbi vivoda, Leigh Anne, Pantera and all the old school polers. I always wanted to get my Eagle and ultimately the rainbow marchenko and always meant to "work towards them”. It wasn’t until a friend bought me my dream brass pole 45mm and I thought, “yes! The time is now! 😉”I'd always followed and admired your flexy and strong dancing so when I found Align I signed up in spring last year. I had a goal to stick with it. However I had no idea that somewhere along the line of doing your classes, the help of the app and challenges, I became addicted! I have started to love and look forward to my stretching. I never thought it would happen! Seeing progress is so motivating and I can’t imagine not stretching and working towards bendier goals now! It’s all pretty much down to starting and sticking with Align and having a very gorgeous and bendy inspiration such as you! x ✨November community challenge ✨Ever find it hard to focus? Sharing in case it helps someone else! Erika Kullberg did a podcast with the Author of Atomic Habits. The episode shared lots of great nuggets about how to stick to your goals if you lack discipline. Something that really stuck out to me is when the guy said "make it difficult to NOT complete your goals. Sleep in your workout gear if you have to." I went home and immediately rearranged my bedroom and gave my yoga mat a permanent spot in the middle of my room. My issue is I never have time to stretch, but now I literally have to jump over my Matt to get around my bedroom and I've found I've magicallly managed to stretch at least 4 times a week on Align! I think having that visual reminder forces me to show up, make time and stretch! Hey guys! I have loved seeing your pics from the challenge. HUGE well done 😍 My plan was to get you guys to all post on the pole star flexibility channel rather than the general so all the pictures are easy to find so if you can post your work for the challenge on there from now on would be great! Little snap shot of today’s Accountability meet up ☕️(apart from Claire who had to leave early) it was soooo lovely to connect with everyone . I feel super inspired for 2024 now!💕🙏🏻 I will be uploading a short goal setting video later to outline what we were talking about for those who missed it. Perhaps next meeting at the end of January I will record the session . Happy New Year all 🎉
