Good question ! It will be different depending on the position and how deep the backbend is. A chest stand will be more shallow breathing through the nose. A backbend it depends which position. For example wheel pose (bridge) you want to maintain a steady 'normal' breath. If you are doing a drop back bridge you will inhale as you reach your hands up and exhale as you lower to ground then when in the bridge normal breathing. Hope this helps a little.
