✨Meet beautiful Jo-anna, who started pole dancing aged 55 with no previous experience. "I had never stretched before and I couldn't touch my toes or bend my back," Jo-anna explains...
✨Jo-anna tried a few online pole and stretch platforms during the pandemic but nothing compared to the "huge content" selection of Align. With it's wide variety Align suits every occasion: "If I have lots of time I choose a long class, if time is short I know there are shorter classes."
✨The holistic approach to stretch is, according to Jo-anna, one of Align's strengths. Jo-anna also finds "Felicity's focus on active flexibility" really great. "I can feel my hip flexors are stronger," she claims.
✨The Yin Series is something that Jo-anna and her husband love to do together and adds another, more chilled option to try.
✨Jo-anna describes her new-found
flexibility as "much improved!" She now takes beautiful photos of her front splits on the beach whilst travelling, can touch her calves down in her middle splits and can backbend much more in a camel than previously.

Mine is:
✅ pole practice: 3 days (including stretching)
✅ gym : 3 days (stretch after for 15-20 minutes )
✅ one focused backend stretch session
✅ Meditation every day!

When I am with my chest to the floor my hips are not completely flat yet, but I am well on my way!

Meet Vic, a busy pole teacher who uses the Align App to stay consistent with her flexibility training. “If I’m not consistent my flexibility reflects that,” she claims. 💖
Vic joined Align three years ago and was “beyond stiff” before starting her pole journey. She had to work “extremely hard” to get to where she is today. Vic is proof that hard work and consistent training pay off! Congratulations Vic! 💖
The classes in the Align app are “very relaxing,” she claims, and enable her to switch off from the world for an hour each time. Vic loves to use the meditation on the app as part of her evening routine so she can unwind & sleep peacefully. She also loves the monthly challenges that keep her focused on a particular stretching goal. Her favourites are the needle-scale & box split challenges! 🌿✨
