Day 3: favorite class for comp prep daily warmup was Front Splits and upper back fusion. This got me warmed up and ready to go without overdoing it.
Found the perfect beach spot to relax and hang upside down (trying to make him tired 😅)
I met another single mother yesterday with two kids they were playing lots with Orlando so managed to have pinacolada and a nice chill out.
I am stretching sporadically when I can and using the gym in the complex I am staying at a little.

Day 1: my favorite class is “twisty pancakes 🥞 “ - spinal twist has always been difficult for me and has limited me for everything from square front splits to backbends and binds. This class is so relaxing to me now and the pose is so beautiful 😻.

Currently in Koh phanyan !✨its a beautiful mix of beach and tropical jungle 😍it’s very ‘hippy style’ and there is a lot of yoga and conscious events which look amazing. To be honest travelling as a single parent is a lot harder than I thought. I have felt very overwhelmed and exhausted a lot of the time . It doesn’t feel like a ‘holiday’ at all 😅 but don’t get me wrong it’s also wonderful and I’m glad I am doing it. I also believe that real growth only comes from challenges!
I found a baby sitter who can help me out a bit from time to time when I need a bit of breathing space so maybe I can go to a yoga class after all 😅
You might have heard from my social media or live classes that I lost my entire luggage on the London Underground before I came 🥹. So I am living in the most minimalist way ever ! I have one pair of flip flops and a couple shorts and a few things a friend lent me. It actually feels quite freeing 😍😻
I found a pole place here but it is outside and there is no air con of course so the practice is incredibly difficult! It’s like ‘hot’ pole!
Better go now as Orlando is screaming at me to join him in the swimming pool! Be hates whenever I touch my phone 😫

Even though the pandemic was horrible in so many ways it also opened up a wonderful world of virtual training. I started training with Felicity in May of 2020 through live classes and have continued through these 4 years with Align. I’ve done every single class on the platform at least once. Including several of the challenges 5+ times for competition training warmups. I hated stretching and was very immobile when I started and now I look forward to stretching sometimes getting lost in it for hours at a time. I’ve gained flat cold splits and oversplits throughout.
