Today's class will give you a really great full body stretch in 30 minutes π It can also beΒ a warm up for a sexy pole session as we focus on flowing through movements while we stretch. It is a unique class on the platform and had a lot of great feedback. Try to stay present throughout the class by keep returning to the breath. Hiii!! Today i attempted this forearm stand with the pole and oh my god was this hard. I tried soooo many times π
this was my best attempt haha.
I have a hard time keeping my hips high and standing on the toebox, as i feeel i slide away.
Is it maybe also better/ ok if i keep my shoulder behind the pole? I tried to keep it next to the pole now, but i feel like it made it a lot harder. Usually i jump up with my shoulder behind the pole.
Anyway after all that i did almost grab my heel in an inverted eagle hehe.
I will keep trying!! The fore arm stand from the wall feels easier now π¬ππ

Sharing in case it helps someone else! Erika Kullberg did a podcast with the Author of Atomic Habits. The episode shared lots of great nuggets about how to stick to your goals if you lack discipline. Something that really stuck out to me is when the guy said "make it difficult to NOT complete your goals. Sleep in your workout gear if you have to." I went home and immediately rearranged my bedroom and gave my yoga mat a permanent spot in the middle of my room. My issue is I never have time to stretch, but now I literally have to jump over my Matt to get around my bedroom and I've found I've magicallly managed to stretch at least 4 times a week on Align! I think having that visual reminder forces me to show up, make time and stretch!
