Hi friends!

Friday and today I did forearm stands and I even stacked some chest stands on top, after some lifting.

Now I am sore haha! But it feels great to do these regularly.

I want to ask you all for some tips on the cheststand, today I felt like I got deeper aka, I felt more weight on my shoulders/neck, I really felt my whole neck on the mat, not just my chin and I got spooked haha. But I guess that is the correct feeling? How do you control it?

Also anyone else getting matburn from these hahaha

I still have no idea how you get your hips high and over 😂😅 but I guess I will get there at some point.

Happy Monday lovelies 😍
Back on my chest stand journey! I got a bit annoyed because I couldn’t remove the blocks but then I reminded myself that I need to keep working on it and be more consistent first.
Do you struggle with impatience / frustration? Today I’m feeling proud of my two trainings last week and I want to keep it going 💪🏼😍

Meet the incredible Sarah who joined Align in 2022. "I have learnt so much from Felicity!" she claims.
The flexibility courses within the Align app are a favourite for her and have helped her target areas she wanted to improve such as the needle scale which have helped her with bendy tricks up the pole too!
"I have gotten dream moves like contortion scorpio!" And wow, look how gorgeous this contortion scorpio is photographed above!
Another highlight for Sarah is the mindfulness and meditation Felicity brings to Align.
"I think that's something that initially drew me to her. I really resonate with those types of mindfulness teachings (especially) when you're asking your body to do crazy contortions. For me, Align is the whole package."

I did a chest stand practice last week. After a long while. Definitely didn’t feel as comfortable as it once did . Although to be honest I don’t think it’s supposed to ever feel ‘easy’ haha 😝 It’s super tricky for me to fit everything I want to do into my week! Do you guys feels the same? I want to train contortion/pole/ gym / stretching/ floor work / chest stands / needles/ yin yoga…. and of course there is my son! And… life!🙃 but always trying our best is the key I think . We don’t have to be perfect 👌🏻 I do think making a schedule at the beginning of the week or at least an intention or plan for your training is helpful 🫶🏼💃what will your training look like this week?

💞 Meet the amazing Millie who started pole almost six years ago. 💞

In March 2022 Millie’s pole bestie Lauryn introduced her to Align.

“At first, I was just there to get more flexible shapes but after trying the yin classes, I realised yoga had so much more to offer — especially for my mental health. Now, Align is honestly my happy place and the best part of my day!”

🤸 Fun fact: Millie’s favourite pole shape is the Janeiro featured above! Her favourite yoga shape is the forearm stand.
