Oki, I try to describe :D Well... I'm so confused now. In hungary we don't use this expression "box split" and "pancake". So if I understand well, pancake is the stranddle. Bum is on the floor. I'm okay with this position with knees up. Box split, is like middle split, right? I'm struggling with the excercise when start from the squat and trying to keep knees up. There are two options: 1. My hip automatically turns to "to arch", knees turns automatically to the front and I do what I used to do. Middle split with knees up. 2. My feets are splipping, I'm trying to control hip and knees but I fall (land) into a freakin' big straddle with knees up. Hope you understand.. (: <3

Hello dear Felicity! I have a question please.. My box split is still not ready but very closed. I easily can put my chest to the floor. So I do the advanced variation with knees to the front. But I can not do the easier. Now I really need to ask, because there is one or two more videos in the pancake challange where I was struggling with the "knees up" variation. Very annoying! I don't know how to understand that move... All the other part of this class was very nice. As usual <3 And I feel much more better than before (:
