Day 17✨Trying to get a flexible shape in my back🙄! Even before bed🧐😹
Forearm stands are a bit too scary to me still but tried this scorpion handstand today for the first time and managed to hold it for maybe 3 seconds without touching the wall. Thank you for the amazing challenge and all the inspiration! 🥰 #21dayflexystandchallenge
Hi lovelies!!
Todays class suggestion is an amazing stretch for the glutes!
This class got me into my front split more comfortably and helped me to get my oversplits!
As I have pelvic pains and problems my glutes also tend to be very tight, stretching them really gives me pain relief in my glutes and lowerback.
I always forgot to stretch them but am so happy I do now 😍
Enjoy!! 😍😍
Stretchy glutes (all levels)
Hi all!
For day four one of my favourite videos for the middle splits 🤸🏻♀️
Until recently I have been quite anxious about training my middle splits, but with this class I am slowly but surely getting closer to the ground!
I love a shorter class too as I can do them after work or training still!
Also, gotta love the ducks 💖
Enjoy xxx
Melt into box splits | a jo...
Rebecca has been an Align member for 1.5 years and this week she is going to be sharing her favourite classes that have helped her so much mentally and physically !
Here is what she says;
‘After half a year of poledancing I decided I HAD to get my splits to become 'good' at poledancing. I did not like stretching my hips and i did not even know I was supposed to stretch my shoulders 😅 I had no consistency and I pushed myself too much. I wasn't progressing, I would get frustrated and stop. It was a negative cycle.’ Then I started to really listen to Felicity’s words. To enjoy the practice. To relax.
No matter the outcome. Not only did I get my front splits and took my backbends to the next level, more importantly I enjoy my practice. It has become selfcare.
Hi, I'm Gilly or @scarletrosepole on IG.
I've always struggled with flexibility and there aren't any flexibility classes near me so I've not felt safe doing it alone especially after injuring an adductor doing passive stretching many years ago. I'm perimenopausal now so I feel like the clock is ticking to improve my mobility.
A friend recommended Align and I did just a couple of the free classes and felt a difference straight away.
I've paid for the annual membership so I'm here to stay and I've started on the straddle pancake challenge. Here is my Day 1 and Day 3 photos and I'm so surprised by the difference!
I'm excited to see where it all leads.
Not giving up 🤣
I feel like I am afraid to be in the air because my body kind of doesn‘t know what its supposed to do up there 🤣😅
So I am working more with the wall to try to find that point to balance
